MARGIE LILLEY

Margie Lilley is a self-taught artist whose work is inspired by rural life, family, and the simple beauty of everyday moments. Her creative journey began on her family’s farm, where she learned to draw while sitting beside her father as he sketched to unwind at the end of the day—an experience that shaped both her artistic style and her love for art.

Over the years, Margie has developed a distinctive, heartfelt style that resonates with warmth and everyday beauty. Her work has been featured in local shops and through commissioned paintings and murals. Her designs have expanded into licensed art on wallpaper, tabletop collections, wall art, and home décor products.

Passionate about creativity and connection, Margie enjoys sharing art with children and spends time painting with her grandchildren in her studio. She also volunteers at a therapeutic equestrian center for children with disabilities, where she developed a summer art program.

Margie lives with her husband, Jon, on a small farm in rural Ohio. Their century-old summer kitchen—lovingly restored by Jon—now serves as her art studio. Surrounded by gardens and a menagerie of animals, she finds daily inspiration in the simple charm of country life
